MOVER’S CHOICE "NEW VENTURE MOVER'S PROGAM"

Paul Hanson Partners Specialty Insurance Solutions is a full service managing general agent for our exclusive package program for moving and storage industry. Our program is underwritten by Chartis Insurance Company, rated “A XV” by A.M. Best’s, and is available to moving agents and vanlines across the country.

Our New Venture Mover’s Program is unique in that it is specifically design for the moving operation that have less then 3 years of insurance loss history experience. Our program includes the following coverages:

  • Truck Liability
  • Auto Physical Damage
  • General Liability
  • Property
  • Cargo Legal Liability
  • Warehouse Legal Liability
  • Mover’s Equipment Coverage
  • Business Income Coverage
  • Crime Coverage
  • Umbrella Coverage
General Underwriting Criteria
We can only underwrite accounts that have the following general operational criteria:
  • Must have five years of resume experience in the moving industry
  • Normal Radius of Operations must be limited to local/intermediate (less then 250 miles)
  • All Drivers must meet Mover’s Choice Driver Eligibility Requirement (Download PDF)
  • Project Business Financial Plan or Current Financial Statement Required
  • Person Credit Check of Owner Results will be subject to underwriting
  • Cargo Policy would only offer $.60 per pound valuation only- Minimum premium
Submission Requirements
To submit an application we need a complete application which includes:
  • Acord applications for all coverages
  • M&S Supplemental Application (Download PDF)
  • Resume of Owner(s) Showing Year of Moving and Storage Industry Experience
  • Projected Business Financial Plan or Annual Financial Statement (Income & Balance Sheet)
  • Owners Social Security Number to be able to run credit check
  • Drivers list with Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRS)
  • Vehicle schedule
  • A copy of their bill of lading and warehouse receipt
